ROLAND C PHOTOGRAPHY - CAPE TOWN AIRBnB PHOTOGRAPHER

Roland C Photography was recently approached by AirBnB International to become one of the AirBnB International Freelance Photography Team’s approved photographers in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.

They had a list of requirements I had to adhere to. I had to submit photo’s of AirBnB’s taken with their required lense and had to do HDR Stitching which is quite laborious but has the required aesthical results.

I am proud to announce that Roland C Photography was selected to join their freelance AirBnB Photography team in October 2023. Since then, I was appointed to photograph 60 AirBnB’s in the subsequent 11 months that followed.

The journey with AirBnB has taught me a lot about interior photography which I apply to Real Estate Photography as well. The quality of the aesthetics is greatly enhanced and I have to admit that I find it both exciting and very rewarding since I’m getting excellent feed back.

As an approved freelance AirBnB Interntional photographer, I had the privilege to photograph some of the most beautiful AirBnB’s in the magnificent winelands of Stellenbosch and Franschoek as well as lush Newlands which is near Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town. I have also photographed some beautiful AirBnb’s in amazing old world Rondebosch. However the most magnificent AirBnB I’ve ever had the privilege to photograph was in affluent Camps Bay where the vast open space of the AirBnB offered magnificent sea facing views from all the bedrooms.*

The AirBnB’s in the Sea Point and Green Point areas are situated in the Cape Peninsula which had some of the most amazing contemporary architecture with amazing views of the Atlantic Sea! Having said that, each and every AirBnB that I photographed was beautiful with incredible interior finishes and pristine gardens. I loved the historical old world feel of some the AirBnB’s in historical Groot Constantia and Klein Constantia which are situated in close proximity to one another. The AirBnB’s I photographed in Tamboerskloof also had the old world feel which is characteritic of old Cape Town.

I love what I’m doing and am looking forward to expanding my AirBnB travels into the greater Western Cape.
